Isle of Wight Summer Holidays: 15 Ways to Keep the Kids Happy

The Isle of Wight is the ultimate summer playground for families, think golden beaches for sandcastle showdowns and paddleboards to wobble on. Whether the sun’s blazing or the rain’s making an appearance, the island’s packed with adventures to keep little ones smiling (and hopefully worn out by bedtime). From free outdoor fun to animal encounters, rainy-day rescues, and special summer events, we’ve rounded up 15 of the best ways to make your family holiday unforgettable.

The summer holidays are here, and if you’ve got kids to entertain, the Isle of Wight is pretty much one big playground. Think sandy beaches perfect for castle building, rockpools full of crabs, and plenty of space to burn off all that ice cream energy. There’s so much to do, from meeting donkeys and wallabies to exploring hidden coves and getting crafty on a rainy afternoon.
